engine harness Q:
I am trying to hook up my engine wire harness on my 72 C10. the harness had all the ends cut off and I am not sure where all the wires go. Does anyone have a color diagram that shows this?
thanks |

There is a sticky with the wiring diagrams at the top of the electrical page.
Here it is. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=185856

Re: engine harness Q:
While the color chart is a start it is very generic. The 72 service manual (downloadable) has most of the circuits. If it is just the engine harness you shouldn't have to much trouble.

Re: engine harness Q:
Here is on I like to use. The wires on the left are for the parking and turn signal lights. The temp is green, the oil is dark blue, and the purple goes to the starter solenoid along with a yellow which connects back to the coil positive terminal for 12 volts during starting.
