TH350 Tailshaft?
Ordering my Tranny...as I understand, all 67-72 TH350 2WD came with a 6" Tailshaft. Please confirm? Thanks!

Re: TH350 Tailshaft?
I have a 400 out of my c20 or else I'll go measure for you, as far as I know it was the 6" shaft, hopefully someone with one can confirm this. Sad part is since this forum is set up as 1 long forum (instead of breaking it down into categories like "engine/trans", "suspension", "etc") your post will get buried pretty quickly and we may never know the answer to your question.
This is a bump for you, because I know how frustrating it is when you're in need of information, I needed info on my trans swap recently so I feel your pain.

Re: TH350 Tailshaft?
My 70 with the turbo 350 has the 6" but I know the tail shafts come in two other sizes as well.

Re: TH350 Tailshaft?
The 6" tail is very COMMON in these trucks,it would be a fluke if it had a longer tail in it but not uncommon.

Re: TH350 Tailshaft?
6" was the most common. Some later models came with 9" tailshafts. 9" is what is on my TH350, but I think it may be a mid 70's transmission.
