lockouts
Does anyone know if there are any lockouts that interchange (Ford Dodge Jeep) with a 1967 closed knuckle Dana 44 in a K10. The p o rebuilt the rest of the axle. Mine are worn out, some of the pegs and springs are missing. These are the push in type. I can't see spending $300-$400 for replacements. Thanks in advance. John

Re: lockouts
Hey John,
Those should be the old Warn M8 hubs, right? I don't think you can buy them new anymore, and I don't think service kits are available. You might have to do some scouring. I'm sure you could find other vehicles they came on, but they might be even more rare than your truck. You might be able to find a set pretty easily if you post a WTB ad here on the board. Those axles get swapped out a lot for an open knuckle axle, so I feel like there are bound to be dozens of these axles with good rebuildable lockouts on them littered across the country. Of course, you could always put that money towards swapping in a later model 44 with open knuckles and discs...
