Wood Bed question
Were the wood floors painted to match the colour of the truck like this one on e-bay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1814827089
I'm not saying this truck doesn't have original paint, I've just never seen one that hasn't done a lot of hauling.

The beds were either painted black or the color of the truck. They were actually made out of Yellow Pine and not Oak or some of the ohter hardwoods that you see today.

I didn't know that! I always assumed they were natural wood, and I'm an old timer too!
