Warn winch question
Anybody have an idea on the era this came from? I just bought this rig today and I am trying to ID so I can list it to sell. Could it be from the 70's?
Is currently on a 72 that does not run. Any help? |

Re: Warn winch question
It's a M8274, and yours shown here was produced in Oct. 1975. Also, M8274 stands for: M is "model," 8 is for its 8,000 lb. capacity, 2 is for "two-way" (freespool and power-in), and 74 is the year it was introduced.
Btw, are those extreme bend tow hooks on the front of your truck there? |

Re: Warn winch question
Yes they are! They adjusted the frame for the bumper and this was a huge bonus when I went to see the truck. I bought it for the driveline and motor. It is date coded for my k20 Cheyenne super project. The tow hooks are a bonus!
Posted via Mobile Device Thanks for all the help! Hopefully I can get it off this weekend |
