Top Off Finally!
I finally got around to taking off the top on my K5 on Saturday afternoon. The wife and I drove it all over including Downtown Annapolis. We got lots of smiles and finger pointing and thumbs up in it. I drove it to work yesterday and today, guess what...... it was pouring at quitting time. So I put on my rain suit and drove home. 2 inches of rain in 1 hr. The old K5 ran perfect and it was a blast! The look on peoples faces was priceless, hopefully someone got a pic of me in it.

Re: Top Off Finally!
I added the Spare Tire mount and spare tire this year. When I bought the Five it came with the white steel rim and snow tire. i really like the way it looks back there. I lucked out and purchased a spare tire rack from a great guy down in Fredericksburg Va last fall.

Re: Top Off Finally!
I'm jealous!! I'm over in Mount Airy and trying to get mine back on the road after sitting for a few years. Running with the top off for the first time is awesome!

Re: Top Off Finally!
I like the colors. That's one of the schemes I'm considering for my Blazer when I paint it.

Re: Top Off Finally!
W just got back from taking the Five to get a bite to eat @Panera Bread and driving through Bay Ridge and then downtown Annapolis. 85 degrees @08:30.
One of the best night to go out in the Five in a longtime. Thank you guys for the compliments! |
