speedometer does not work nor km digits

I purchased a 1986 Chevy C 10 2wd . At some point it was automatic and she is now a 5 speed. Previous owner said the speedo stopped working after the 5 speed was put in. I believe he said it was out of a 1993 to 1996 blazer .. any particular part I'm needing. I need to get a safety done. Any ideas?? Thanks

Re: speedometer does not work nor km digits

If he put an NV3500 out of an S series blazer in there it'll need some provision to drive the speedometer cable... or the rare electronic speedo and DRAC out of a 1991 Suburban or CK Blazer.

Re: speedometer does not work nor km digits

You can get a cable-x unit if you need to convert from electronic to mechanical drive speedo. It is a little pricy 300ish, but it a pretty quick install.
