61 Bel Air Flat Top
Here's the latest project a original paint (roof was repainted in 1980) 61 Bel Air two door sedan. The best part is its 100% rust free.

Re: 61 Bel Air Flat Top
With only three months till Cruisin The Coast show it will be the basics. Air bags, tubular upper and lower control arms, rebuild the trailing arms, adjustable panhard bar, narrow the rear end 1 1/2" per side, Moser axles, 13" C5 Corvette brakes front and rear and 19x8 & 20x10 Intro Vista wheels. Installed the front last night.

Re: 61 Bel Air Flat Top
Not much progress.. but while running the airlines and electrical I decided to install a ACC carpet kit and matching floor mats in place of the original carpet / rubber mat that had seen better days. I have new kick panels ordered from CARS INC. Also sand blasted the rear trailing arms and installed Energy poly bushings and also installed the rear cups and bags. Will clean and rattle can the frame a little. I have the new shorter Moser axles and should have the housing back from being narrowed today.

Re: 61 Bel Air Flat Top
Thanks guys, one of the reasons I have had several of the 58-64 big Chevys is they bag so easy. Only takes a day if you do just the basic bag job. We will be heading out to Columbus Ohio in the morning to take in the Goodguys show and visit my family...so nothing will be done over the next week. The rear end is narrowed and will be the next thing along with the rear 13" Vette brakes......now if Intro builds my rims we will be set!

Re: 61 Bel Air Flat Top
That is sweet, I'm building a 64 biscayne myself, no where near as clean as yours though. I've already had the front end rebuilt, discs brakes added, the I6 freshend up and painted and the air bags installed. where and when is cruising the coast exactly, i would like to go if it isn't to far. I live in Georgia.
