Are the fenders for your '56 truck? First time I've looked at this part of the forum and it's a bit misleading. The heading says '47 to '59 but then under that it says '47 to '55 - 1st series.

There is also a small support bracket at the top corner of the bed that is in the roll area.

three length beds all have different cut outs for the spare, 3 different brackets too
i was going thru the assembly manual when i built my truk, there is also a shim on the axle on the spare side
us 3100 spare is on the left fender, canadian 1300 spare is on the right fender

Can you describe this shim on the axle? I'm trying visualize what it's supposed to do.
