Dieseling issues

[Straight six]

Hi Guys,

Need help just installed new hei and 4 barrel edelbrock 500 cfm carb on my 1978 c15 4.1 250. It's backfiring ,no power, erratic idle, flooding and the dieseling is getting out of control it's stumbled for two minutes after shutting off. I don't know what to do is it a timing issue or idle mixture issue or to much fuel pressure?????

start with fixing your timing I just had hell with "diesling" i put new plugs and set the timing again and it finally stopped doing it i had to retard my time!
