55.5 GMC. Did they have a rear view?

I ordered a bunch of parts a few weeks back and threw in a rear view mirror thinking there was a place for one. I cannot find where one would go on my 55 Blue Chip. Did these trucks come with interior rear views? If so anyone got a picture of a stock one?

FWIW My truck was not originally equipped with an inside rearview mirror. It was only equipped with a peep mirror on the LH door. I guess you didn't need to see who was behind you in Nebraska in 1957. Here's an interior shot with a mirror.

that's what I was wondering. My truck has a speaker box there, but I was thinking that's what they should look like. I have a morror and bracket in the truck sitting on the floor when I got it, but just never looked if it belonged to this truck or not.
