k10 headers
Good afternoon, I recently purchased a 1971 k10 LWB 350 with an sm465. It has completely stock exhaust with ramhorns. I would like to know what kind of aftermarket ceramic headers would fit the truck?

Re: k10 headers
Since nobody is responding, I will.
I find headers to be far more pain then they are worth. Especially on a vehicle with rams horn exhaust manifolds. The stock rams horns flow very good. Instead of bolting on marginally better flowing but far more pain in the butt headers, look at the dual exhaust kit made by http://www.heartthrobexhaust.com/. This is the "dual exhaust kit" they sell out of LMC's catalog. Many folks on this forum have used this kit. I did too. I bolted it on in 2001 and except for having to replace the mufflers a few years ago haven't had to deal with a thing on the exhaust. This kit is truly a bolt on affair. The only thing I had to fabricate was an exhaust hanger on the side that did not have a hanger on my factory single exhaust truck.

My ramhorns are cracking thats why I'm looking at doing a set of headers.

Re: k10 headers
Does anybody know of a set of long tube headers that will clear the z bar in it?

Re: k10 headers
You can run corvette ramhorns as well (certain years had 2.5" openings)...

Re: k10 headers
Try the 4x4 forum or look at some of the builds and see what others have used.
