Finally fixed my brakes

After months of trouble shooting and banging my head. I broke down and replaced the master cylinder and I decided to put speed bleeders on the brake cylinders. Went to buy the speed bleeders and they didn't have the ones to fit my truck. I was like what the hell. So I asked for a wheel cylinder and come to find out the ones on my truck were not the right ones on the back. they were smaller than the new ones. So I spent the morning swapping the wheel cylinders and speed bleeders. Got the system bled and they work like new again. Crazy thing is I replaced all this stuff when I got the truck in 09 but the brakes have never felt right but in the last few months they went to crap.

Re: Finally fixed my brakes

Congrats on getting it worked out.

Nothing better than working brakes!

Re: Finally fixed my brakes

yes it is. I have not really driven the truck much this year since I put in the 700r4 due to the braking issues. This fall I will strip it down and take it to the paint jail. I want to have it painted the red pearl color of my dodge ram. I think that color would look bas ass on my truck.
