p/s pump
This is my first time posting on this part of the board but i thought yall could steer me in the right direction, ok i'm putting a 68 big block in my 75 truck and need a p/s pump and the brackets can i use ones from a 67-72 truck and if so are they for short or long water pump and where can i order them...........thanks

up to 72 turcks would have had short water pumps. 1973 and up are long water pumps. You will want to find the long set up for your 75. They are much cheaper and easier to find. i think somebody here was asking 75 for the longs and 225 for the short set up a while back.

I put a bbc in my '67 and went with the swp setup. It would have been a lot easier, and cheaper to go with lwp stuff instead. However you can get most of the stuff in reproduction parts from vendors such as year one, just look for '65-'67 chevelle bbc parts. Still by the time it is all said and done you will have at least double, but more likely triple the amount of money tied up in it. however if you still want to go swp I can point you in the right direction as far as finding parts just drop me a pm.
