Someone on a '60-66 Facebook group had posted this, so I thought I'd link it here if nobody has seen it:

Manual trans... straight 6... man... Give it a brake job, new tires, new plugs and wires, change the fuel filter and possibly rebuild the carb, and drive it home.
That's exactly what I did with the one in my Avatar--flew in to Joplin and drove it back to Atlanta. The price is right, too... damn I hate being broke. -Brad

Re: CL find: '62 Chevy 4x4 Burb (Seattle)
dammit... 1-way plane ticket from Atlanta to Seattle is $191...
I bet it'd cost more than that to ship my road-trip kit! And the return trip takes me through Salt Lake City... which is an hour from the Bonneville Salt Flats... where they're racing starting on the 10th of this month... dammit...

i've actually talked to the guy who owns the suburban actually. Seems pretty nice guy and honest. Been thinking of going down to Aberdeen and checking the burb out. Just don't know about how bad the rust really is is all. Seems really cool though!

If I had the money it would be in my driveway right now!
