Re: craigslist find crewcab

I say go for it, my guy said he couldn't do it, had some unexpected things pop up that depleted his "play truck fund" :-) That's a great find for sure!

I tell you what... If I buy it and you come help me load it on to my trailer I will give you a case of beer.

I have been texting back and forth with the owner and getting more pics of it. The truck is in decent shape and will make an easy fixer.

Where is it located? If it's close enough to me, I'll lend a hand if I can. You can drop off the beer to Chevy-Fun on your way through

I have the perfect drivetrain sitting in my crew cab for that truck too. Swing by here and I can help you load it.

Re: craigslist find crewcab

So I was just sitting here thinking... If I brought a complete running drivetrain with me to paradise to pick the truck up it might be easier to just install the drivetrain and drive it home, rather than try to load that heavy beast onto a trailer!!! LMAO

And, if I had a couple "buddies" from the DFW area there to help it would go that much quicker... (HINT, HINT, HINT...)

It is a running driving combo, ready to go. I am open to offers; really need to make a hole where it sits.

Well, well... I might have to make a stop in Richardson and come see you before going to Paradise. So much to get the CFO to buy off on...

Re: craigslist find crewcab

Not to add fuel to the fire, but it is on your way up on 35- my truck is at work in Desoto. Engine is still in it if you want to hear it run, but the driveshaft isn't hooked up.

LOL, thanks for adding that fuel... I think it might actually be easier to make that one run where it sits than to tow it back here...

I texted the guy with the 86 CC. I got a 3/4ton that I can swap the drivetrain out of. Just need to talk my wife into it...
