79' Chevy C10 stepside

I recently have been looking for a truck when I stumbled upon this custom deluxe 10 close to where I work at for $400-600 dollars. Today my dad and I went to go talk to the owner and he let us look at the truck and told us that it has a 350 four bolt, it is a 3 speed, the transmission is bad, and it was a service truck for the city. On the outside the body is good with a couple of dings and no rust, just needs a new grill, hood, rims, and tires. Inside it has a reupholstered bench seat, needs new door panels and carpet. The owner also told us that the engine was rebuilt and was serviced about every 3,000 miles. Should I get the truck?

nice, let see some pictures.

I bought my 79 k10 for $600 with no motor....

I was looking for a 79 stepside short bed 4x4.

From some reason long beds are all over my local area..

At that price you cant loose. You could sell it for scrap for $500. This is a no brainer.

Where I live custom bed wood runs $500 so for a complete truck that would be a good deal.
