What brakes should I buy?

I have a '66 c10 with drum brakes all the way around. I have had some "not so fun" experiences with drum brakes and hate them with a firery passion. I have been looking at some conversion kits every now and again but don't know what is the best bang for the buck. I absolutely want to keep the six lug spindles if at all possible and I'm not set on having power brakes but I know if I convert it I will at least need a new master cylinder. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.
