1969-1972 Truck Automatic ComforTilt steering column

***Price dropped $225.00 plus shipping and insurance***I have a used automatic truck Comfortilt column removed from a 1972 C10. I bought the truck undrivable and switch operation is unknown. The column felt tight to me. There is an extra wire coming out the bottom of the column without a connector on it but I think it is supposed to be there. The factory plug in looks good. I have not taken the column apart to find out what the extra wire is for but from pictures I have seen of other columns, I think it is supposed to be there. The levers are usable but not show quality. I think the automatic pointer is missing something on the end. Remember that this is a used column removed from a 40 year old truck and not a show quality restored unit but I believe to be in good shape for its age. I have removed all the levers and external parts to be able to ship the column with less chance of damage but they are all included. $225.00 plus shipping and insurance. If you want more pictures or have questions, ask in the thread. Thanks for looking.

the extra wire goes to the indicator and the other end should have a little bulb. At least that is now mine was when I took it apart to rebuild it.

Thanks for the information! I was hoping that it is supposed to be there and not something that someone added or bypassed.
