Budget Suspension

All c10 riders I need your assistance slash opinions. Im a novice so I apologize ahead of time.I purchased a 63 step (rough drivable farm truck) but my heart was set on the 67-72. Started tearing it down for rebuild and everything was going great so of course while searching for parts I come across what I wanted 2nd gen. YYYESSS! But had to get wife on board-Ah man! Anyway she went for but I cnt do a full resto on my daily which wll be the 63. Ok no prob so now to what I need your help with, the truck is a little sloppy up front steering is a little loose(aftermarket steering wheel). I took of driver wheel grab the drum and went from left to right and everthing moves a little. I cn grab the steering arm/shaft and turn back and forth as well. So what do you think I need to replace and can i get by with this old truck on the rode by just replacing all the front stock parts I will only be only driving total of 30 miles a day to and from work.
