stepside fender marker lights
What year did GM switch over to marker lights and not reflectors in the stepsides? I've got a 68 stepside bed for mine, and I just realized that it doesn't have marker lights in it. There is no hole for a wire to go thru into the pocket going to the marker light bezel. My truck is a 71 and I'm sure the rear wiring harness will have pigtails for marker lights. Or will it?

67 is the only year without them.

Re: stepside fender marker lights
I found a post explaining it. Apparently the law didn't change until 1/1/70 required lit side marker lights. Since my truck is a 71, it will have wiring for side marker lights.
