Opinions please ........
I have been thinking about what color to paint the 1967 suburban. Out of all the colors GM used mine has to be the ugliest one "dark green". I will not repaint it with the stock color. I'm thinking "ANODIZED BLUE METALLIC" like this car. Black custom rims with Matt Black grill and blacked out windows. Give me your opinions on what color scheme looks good to you. all opinions are welcome. Thanks

Re: Opinions please ........
Check out K5Kev and his burb.
He was like you, and went with a late model blue with black steel wheels. I saw it in pefson, and it is a knock out! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Opinions please ........

I have K5Kev's burb pictures in my saved file. I'm thinking about no white top and a more modern black rim. Hmmm....

Re: Opinions please ........
I had considered painting the Burb this color (from a 4th-gen Mustang) called Mineral Gray, but decided against it, as everyone I talk to loves the medium/"seafoam" green and white that came stock.

Re: Opinions please ........
This is Ford blue flame metallic (on the raptor pickups). It kind of gives you the idea of blue with a black out grill.

Re: Opinions please ........
I am thinking I might want keep it simple and go with a stock color from 67-72. I'm starting to really like Aztec Gold or Ochre , looks like there the same color but different name.

Re: Opinions please ........
I'm an original color to the year kind of guy on these trucks, so any color you decide to go with I'm cool with
Though I think the newer colors take a lot of thought in making sure the truck "works" with the color. I have seen some really nice modern color combos here, and in person that make me say wow! Then again there are modern colors that just do not work, and can really turn off the visual appeal of the trucks natural style. That being said if you decide to go vintage color you won't go wrong, where as the new colors tend to be a gamble.

Re: Opinions please ........
I agree with you Victorit. After hours of research looking at endless modern colors it has brought me back to the stock colors. Its a gamble on the modern colors, safer with stock.

Re: Opinions please ........
I would do it that color and find a factory white to paint door panels and isc interior bits but the r32 sapphire blue metallic does look good in the sun!!

Re: Opinions please ........
I like suburbans in stock funky colors.
I think down the road people will pay more for a factory color truck. |

Re: Opinions please ........
The Cardinal Red is my favorite original color. Looks like Hugger Orange to most people after it sun fades a little. My 67 Suburban and my 68 C20 are both that color.
