Parts For The '71 Chevy
-
I needed a 3/4 ton leaf spring rear end for the '71 mini dump truck (first two pictures) so I bought this '72 frame off of craigslist. It has a 4.10 Dana in it with newish brakes, and a rebuilt disk brake front end. It also came with all new brake lines, four speed trans, bell housing, drive shaft, and spare tire carrier. I made the Suburban earn it's keep on the 225 mile round trip and it never missed a beat... Life is good. LockDoc

Re: Parts For The '71 Chevy
Nice score Leon. Good to see the Burb holding up solid for you too. Has the old owner of the mini dump truck decided to let go of the BBC yet?

I never said it would be shipped, and I never said I wanted it. I'm certainly not interested now

Re: Parts For The '71 Chevy
Funny how things (even with a smiley face) can be taken entirely out of context...

Re: Parts For The '71 Chevy
I myself would never attempt to build or buy some of the more obscure 67-72's out there. That being said I'm highly appreciative of those of you that do. Good luck with that LockDoc, mighty interesting!

I like those spare mounts. Trying to figure out a fab for one while retaining the winch bumper.

Re: Parts For The '71 Chevy
Wow, I wouldn't be interested in the SM465, but rather some other red and black 4 wheeled objects at the Leon ranch. Yes, I will come pick them up so don't tempt me. LMAO!
On a real note...... That guy is a real piece of work telling you to come get that engine and then telling you he needs $300 for it. He isn't going to like the put together price of this truck is he?
