Re: Somebody buy this....
I've been good to! It would just be another truck to sit in the yard for me, but it is the spittin image of what my truck used to look like, same color motor same color truck! Minus the big dent in the door... Oh and the same motor...

Re: Somebody buy this....
It even has the oem steering wheel horn button. I never knew that the horn button was differant in 66 from the 65 back to 60, in the catalog they sell the same one for all years, but turns out the 64 and the 66 have a differant style button. My 66 doesn't have the button, someone took it out before I got it...

Re: Somebody buy this....
If this is a legit sale, it kinda indicates that our trucks are getting noticed and people are willing to pay for them. I mean, after all this one is a six cyl, manual step-side and a little beat, and still got $7100. A couple years ago it would of got $4500 -$5000 tops.

Re: Somebody buy this....
I was thinking that would go for around 3500 on Ebay.. but it is a matched set,, all OEM so maybe someone would get nuts and go to 4 or 4500.00. I almost fell of my chair when I saw that!
It is a fact, more and more people are looking for pre 66 models ,, low licenses cost, no emissions to deal with.. and most of all,, no "Dealer Only parts" or service with digital input or out put.. there something you can work on! |

Re: Somebody buy this....
And not all those 1/2 ton came with the 292 either, most came with the 230 or 250. If it had a oem 327 then it probably would have gone for more.
