Wheelbase lengths

I'm shopping for a 64-66 fleetside or a 64-66 suburban. I know the two w'base dims for the fleetside is either 115" or 127". What I have not been able to find is the w'base for suburban. Anybody got a source for the suburban w'base dimensions? Thanks!

I would have thought that the subbie w'base would have been 127 or more. If the subbie has a w'base of just 115" then that must mean that I could use a swb pick up truck frame for the frame on the subbie, changing body mounts of course. Right?

why not just use the frame that comes with the suburban
there are 3 different sets of frame brackets for body mounting that the pickup doesn't have and there is the rear frame extension.

thanks for this info, I just picked up a 65 Burb and was thinking of moving the body over to a 71-72 SWB truck for the disc brake and 5 lug but with the added body mounts I will stay with stock frame.

Then the wheelbase will be 2" too long., and wider, but wider is easier to deal with.

The front assembly/crossmember will bolt on to the '65 frame then some 5-bolt rear axles an you're all set. Sounds easier than cutting down the '71 frame 2" and adding the correct body mounts.
