Re: no vacuum

You have checked for leaks I assume? Both at the intake and the carb base? How much is none have you put a gauge on it to see where you are? That is kinda rare with the Comp cams stuff.Everything I have ever cammed using their stuff always made a good vac signal. You may have to go to a vac resivoir or a hydroboost. if you don't have a leak. The hydroboost would insure you always have braking ability. Jim

Re: no vacuum

I am sure there is no vacuum leak. I can pull the power booster hose off and it barely changes idle. big mutha thumper has a lot, I mean a lot of duration and overlap.

Re: no vacuum

All the mutha cams have poor vacuum. You will have to use a vacuum pump

Re: no vacuum

If you can afford it, go with the Hydroboost. CPP has the setup.

Had the same problem with my ZZ572. Dropped in a Stainless Steel Brake Co. electric vacuum pump and Vac pressure went from 7 to 18 psi. More than enough to run the booster. Pricey though. $325.00 from Jegs,
