hey guys was wondering what yall usually put in to the search box on craigslist to look for trucks

(truck | pickup) (gmc | chevy | chevrolet) (1967 | 1968 | 1969 | 1970 | 1971 | 1972)

Another board member posted this a while back. I dont' know what it all means, but it seems to cover most of the bases.

Also check out local FaceBook buy,sale,trade groups. Here in North Texas there are several usually separated by county.

Here are two FB groups that cover Texas and Oklahoma that have trucks on them. There are many more than just these.

AUTOMOBILES , ATV , PARTS ,TIRES, WHEELS ETC FOR SALE ALL AREAS

Texas Classic Auto Parts Trading

Copy and paste these names into FB search bar.

Both currently have trucks post on them

try www.searchtempest.com You can search CL in a surrounding area rather than city-by-city per page if you go to CL directly. Helps out a bunch.

craigslist searching really stinks because of all the !@#$% putting in those big spammy keyword blobs in their posting.

The keywords are longer than the posts most of the time and have more stuff not relevant to the listing then details. drives me nuts.
For a while I quit even contacting posters that do that just on principle. Then I really needed something so my principles wained...

There are some cool addins for firefox and chrome that make craigslist a little easier
