18" or 20" 8 lug OEM looking steel wheels?

Hi,

has anyone heard of 18" or 20" 8lug steel wheels that look like the old 16" OEM wheels? And possibly even work with the stock old hub caps? Iīm trying to keep the vintage theme as much as possible, but need larger wheels due to my big brakes.

Iīve seen Centerline Smoothies converted to accep the OEM hub caps and it looks nice. Iīm just concerned, that if I really use the truck and the brakes, that the fully closed wheel might cause the brakes to overheat. Some little slots like the OEM steelies had would be enough, just a little to get air in.

I tried everything online, but couldnīt find anything! The new OEM steel wheels look too modern for my taste. (and the 17" stock Dodge steel wheel doesnīt fit, already tried that).

Thanks for your reply! The half sizes wonīt work for me though as I need off road tires. So 18" and 20" are the only sizes working. Width would have to be 8.5 to 9".

How did you mount the OEM hub caps?

I already called them and they could make a 18"/20" steel wheel, but not looking like the old factory rim. The guy said it would mook like the spoke wheels or the round hole wheels. And for that look, I can get some light weight forged weld racing wheels as well.

I was really hoping someone would make a completely stock or OEM looking wheels, just larger AND that accepts the stock hub cap.

The wheels are (Dodge) 16" wheel centers welded to a steel ring welded to a 19.5 dually wheel with the center cut out of it. Everything under, and arounf, the hub cap is a normal Dodge wheel and the Chevy hub cap pops on just the same. Dodge uses a bigger hub to pilot off of than GM, so to the wheels on and centered takes a little attention to detail.

Thanks for the info. I might have to take an aluminum wheel that looks like something offered back in the days and maybe craft the hub caps on there somehow.... Maybe thatīll look half way OEM then.
