amp behind interior panels???

hey guys i'm currently putting a system in my truck and thanx to a lot your guys post ive got some ideas but im still a little lost on were to put my amp. I was thinking under the front seat or behind the rear interior panels. my floor board does get hot has anyone had a issue with there amp shutting off? if I do it behind the interior panels im screwing it to the body. hidden so when my top is off no one sees it. any suggestions? or horror stories . thanx guys

I have two amps behind the panel and have not had any problems at all. I removed the factory rear speaker and now that doubles as an air vent for the amps. It is double walled back there......

Thanks. As an fyi, I have the same size speakers in my suburban but are Focals. I will say, I prefer the Focals over the Hertz. Using same JL Audio amps for both trucks......

I'm not going to lie I got some cheap stuff figure when I take the top off less likely to want to steal cheap stuff lol
