Check out this crew cab I picked up
It's a factory air 454 auto with original paint and no rust.

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
I missed a regular cab 2500 2wd in the same color scheme and very similar condition... Found it on Craigslist and only missed it by an hour. I had to do a double take on your picture! Very nice score sir!

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
yup, nice crew, i like it, even the canopy
dont like the bed tie downs. replacement bed for my '68 had 4 of those kind in it. not only did i have big holes to fill, but the metal was all warped around them. why would somebody think tying your load to your sheet metal is a good idea?... |

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
Sounds like your wife has been talking to mine. Better put a stupid price tag on it so it becomes part of the scenery, and you are "trying" to sell it.
Beautiful truck, though. Can you post some more pics?

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
I will tonight, I tried to sell her on the BLK silver combo, slammed on airride with 20's and a modern LS conversion but I can't convince her.

They're kinda like big dumb ugly dogs....after awhile you can't help but liking them. Maybe she'll change her mind after some time. Good luck!

Try photoshopping the truck how you want it or show her ones like what you want to do.

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
Man I want to see some interior shots. That is one fine looking rig. Shame it has to go but I bet if you told her Christmas was around the corner and she didn't have to get you any thing for Christmas because you have this rad round eye. Tell her how Kool she will look riding shot gun. Perfect truck for a family. Time to make memories. You got to get romantic about it.....You've got to sell this as something that SHE would want. Such a nice truck...hate to see it roll on...

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
The problem is room, I live in a subdivision and have my suburban, a 65 shortwide under construction, an 02 Silverado extra cab, an e350 van, my car trailer, the wifes car and my kids car.I am a sucker for a nice truck but she wants to keep the 02, me, I would have traded it out.

Re: Check out this crew cab I picked up
I wish I could have the doors, door panels, both seats, dash bezel and so so so so much more off this thing for my '76. Have you tried to find good doors for a '76 and earlier? Why not sell the van? Sounds like the kids are driving. And let the '02 go. This one will haul the family and everything you need to. Plus it will be cheaper to insure and honestly a whole lot kooler than the '02 or the van. Personally these don't come this nice around here without either a big price tag or tons of rust......Man I don't want to be in your shoes right now.
