How much would shipping be in a flat rate post office box?

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
Hey Dan, those are better than mine but not a big priority for me right now, but if you're still planning on being in my neighborhood this week throw them in your bag and I'll give you $20 for them.

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
You told me 15 plus shipping on these and I asked for shipping price...I noticed the post where you said that is now gone....will these not fit in a small flat rate priority box?

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
I agreed to full price, you made an offer on something that didn't say obo, which technically is against board rules. Elliot949 was actually being nice by giving you a chance at them before me. It just worked out he's going to be 6 blocks from my house this weekend, so I can pick them up, no one was playing favorites.

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
I just read board rules and there is no rule against making someone an offer. but maybe I missed it...

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
VI.If you do not like the price of an item, look further. Comments on value, condition etc will not be tolerated.
I always took this as no haggling, I don't remember that (offers) being the norm a few years back, but I spent three years away from the board. I never meant to cut in on Leroy. I took it as Elliot949 wouldn't do $15 shipped so I offered the $20 he wanted. This board runs smoothly and I don't want to interfere with that. I also don't want Leroy to feel like Elliot949 is a bad member to deal with. I've bought other parts from him and he is stand up. Sorry the thread ended up this way.

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
I believe that rule is to avoid "trashing" an item.
otherwise the Moderators would be warning us that we are breaking Forum rules every time an offer is made.

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
He agreed to 15 plus shipping but removed that post from the thread powell72 it was like the 7th post I have always thought you were allowed to make offers especially after something has had no action for a few days at a posted price...I have a set of these that are NOS but my truck is a patina truck and doesn't warrant that....I got mad because he said 15 plus shipping then when you responded he erased the post that had that information in it....he may be the best guy ever but if you tell someone something and they ask for the final with shipping you shouldn't change that just because someone has now shown interest...I feel you should stand behind your offers and finish the deal as agreed....I hate it turned into this as well just feel that my deal should have been honored and not changed because you showed interest

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
Well if you went to a car lot to buy a car and you made a offer and they took it but at the same time someone offered sticker price for it do you really think they are going to sell it to you?... The obvious answer is no... The removal of the post wasn't to "cover up" anything... If you really were that interested in these parts then why did you spend so much time over a nominal amount of money... I may have another set of these and if I can find them I will just send them to you... geeezzz

Re: 67-68 Chevrolet "Custom" Door Emblems
After reading this thread Elliot949 did play by the rules. If someone wants to offer a lower bid it is up to the seller to discern the offer. If in the mean time if someone offers the asking price it's the sellers prerogative to sell to the item to whom he/she desires at the price he/she desires. The risk one takes in offering a low offer is the possibility of losing it to a buyer who will offer the asking price.
