Internal rust treatment?
Hey guys, looking for something to spray inside the windshield frame on my K5 to "seal" and prevent any further rust.
I know its always best to remove rust before painting an area but its basically impossible to do 100% in this area. Eastwood has some aerosol spray with a long plastic tube for jobs like this. Anyone used it, or is there something better out there? Thanks |

Re: Internal rust treatment?
I am in the same boat as you. Not much you can do inside the window frame. I bought this stuff and was planning on squirting it inside the window frame and in the outer rockers. Can't comment on how it works yet though.

Re: Internal rust treatment?
You can use the nozzle and hook it to the rust convertor , encapsulater and most other paints, that what I did

Re: Internal rust treatment?
How did this work? I was thinking about the windshield frame and the inner and outer bed panel area...

Re: Internal rust treatment?
I sprayed it in the outer rockers and it appears to coat really well. It is really kind of runny so it gets in all of the cracks and crevices that paint would not get to. Because it is so runny i decided not to put it in my windshield frame because it is already painted and i didn't want it to run all over the dash and fire wall.
