Cross-flow radiator in task force

Looking to put a cross-flow radiator in my 56 cameo, Ive seen the kits that are offered. But $600 is spendy for something i can replicate for less than $200. Anyone have pictures of what they have done?

Check on Speedway Motors, they sell a bunch of cross flows for great prices. Do enough research and you might find one that bolts right in. If I had it to do again, I would go with a cross flow for the extra cooling they offer.

You could use this as a reference point or model

I used a rad from an 86-88 corvette as the height was right as well as the width. I have since ordered but not installed an all aluminum unit with twin electric fans from these guys

Re: Cross-flow radiator in task force

Thanks for the replies, I just ordered a aluminum 55-59 radiator, should be fine for what I'm doing with the truck (turbo 5.3)
