Stock control arm supplier?
GREETINGS!
Got a little wobble in my left front tire yesterday during braking on my 70 Chevy longbed yesterday, so I pulled the left front tire. I expected to find a worn ball joint, but in stead found a hogged out upper control arm. It was completely seperated from the cross shaft nut, allowing the control arm to flop about. We are short on junk yards in the area. I checked the LMC cataloug and see that they sell repro's for $135.00. I know how many of you feel about LMC, and wonder if there is another place I can get one, maybe for a better price? (Good timing right before Christmas, eh?) THANKS IN ADVANCE. |

Re: Stock control arm supplier?
i just searched and dont see them either for 70. I have a 72 and just checked and they do show those. I assume the 70 is different from the 72? I have front discs.

Re: Stock control arm supplier?
I found one Joint Tech. Classic Industries. Brand new, and comes with the cross shaft, and a new ball joint for $85.00. $102.00 with shipping. Thanks for taking the time to try to help me out.
