Colorado guys: Year of Manufacture license plate
Any of you Colorado guys ever get any LE grief from running your Year of Manufacture license plate all the time?

Did some research and answered my own question. YOM plates are only to be used for parades and events and going to and from repair facilities.

MO has a nice deal on them. You get repair miles per year unlimited miles for shows and historical events and you get what they call personal miles. Your limited on those but it's ok with me. I hate inspectors in my area because they worry more about the small stuff that I can fix in two minutes. I suppose I understand they pass something with violations and they get a big fine, loose there license to inspect
. And possible jail time. It makes Missouri's deal with these plates really cool because you only have the truck inspected once. 300 years latter if you are still alive and own the truck it still does not need to be inspected. |
