Question Brake proportion valve question

I am changing my 72 C-10 over to Power brakes. Is the prop. valve the same for manual & power brakes on my 72 with factory front disks & drum rear brakes ? I have the proper master cyl. & booster & brackets for power brakes. Thanks....I know you guys will have the correct answer !
