Popping noises in reverse
I've noticed this past year that I get a lot of popping and binding when I'm in reverse. So far it's only when I'm towing the pop up or boat. It doesn't do it any other time. Ol' Yeller has a 4" lift and 33's with the stock drivetrain. Any ideas?

Re: Popping noises in reverse
U joints worn out or worn out spider gears in the diff or weak pressure disks in the posi rear. If so equipped. Self adjusting brakes if loose can pop when changing direction if they aren't adjusting on their own. I adjust mine every few months because of this.
