which parts, while crossmembers out
i have the front crossmember and suspension out of the truck to paint my frame.
while this is out, which are the most crucial high wear parts i should replace? while its out i want to do whats a real necessity to it, and later down the road after the truck is together again, i can replace the tie rods etc. am i looking at ball joints and control arm bushings?

Re: which parts, while crossmembers out
Check them for wear and replace as needed, but if original imo id replace them since already torn apart.

Ball joints
They're easy to change now, much harder later. And if one fails, the wheel falls off. You're looking at less than 100 bucks for all four in Moog brand. A majority of the times, if the control arm bushings have been kept somewhat greased, they'll still be tight and useable as is. Maybe screw in a new grease zerk for good measure.
