Built on a Friday?
I am changing some rockers on a buddys truck and I pulled the driver side rocker and it was not spotwelded along the bottom at all. I've done quite a few of these and this is a first for me. This truck has never been apart so this came from the factory like this. Not a big deal just thought I would share.

Lucky! LOL. That never happens to me I always have to broach every spot weld I see and then go back and do the ones I missed and then use a chisel to separate what's left.

People will always say how well built vehicles were built back in the day ("they don't build them like they used to") but the truth is, the quality control back then was terrible.

you know my 67 was made Jan. 5 1967 which was a thursday and they actually spot welded the bottom of the drivers side dash to the right of the column on wrong. i had to cut the spot welds and re align the outer dash metal at the bottom with the inner metal and then reweld it!

This is weird, I was just viewing this 68 Camaro restoration today, Start at 4:35 minute mark. The whole door pillar wasn't welded from factory! I would keep that rocker, thats GM wall art! Thanks for posting this....
