Re: 1978 Blazer Front seats, rear bench and console

Would you sell the console alone?

Re: 1978 Blazer Front seats, rear bench and console

78 was the first year for the "fold and flip" rear bench in the Blazer, if it'll help the sale. ..for any ya'll that wished your rear bench was "flippable", or removable to allow more rear storage All ya need are the seat and floor brackets/hinges.

Yes Im aware GM redesigned the Blazer in 78 to include rear footwells to accomodate this new rear seat and passenger foot room, but it can still be easily modified to fit in earlier model flat floors without too much fuss (ie. raise it up a few inches, or move the bench up to the leading edge of the rear floor & mount the front buckets forward a little, to allow rear pass. foot room, etc.)
