lowering shackles info!!!

does anyone know where i can find these cheaper than 120 or thankz for the help in Advance.....i found some at the local autozone part number 722-010 they look like they fit just got to measure the width of the leaf spring.....

If you want to save money you can relocate your stock hangers higher on the frame for the price of some grade 8 bolts. Keith did that on his red 87 and was very happy.

The image you have here is a drop hanger. THe second picture is of the shackle hanger, in stock form. There is not drop shackle hanger, just drop shackles.

I have a set of drop shackles I just took off my truck, since I went to a 4-link in the rear. I just used them to roll the truck around. I will sell you these for $25 + freight, which I should be able to squeeze in a USPS medium flat rate box.

The part number is 722-010 at autozone sorry i hadnt replyd i was working ya i know there not lowerin brackets but i was gonna relocate them up hogher on the frame i dont have my original ones. these are suppose to be off a ranger but who know what year

move the front hangers up. just replace the rivits with 3/8 grade 8 bolts. did it on my buddies truck. works well

Ya ill do that .....but the rear shackle brackets were tooken off so i dont have them

Well you can buy new shackles or find some from the bone yard I would buy new and then get some lowering shackle hangers. That would be easier but more money. I think the hangers only give you 2 or 3 inch drop and I think most are adjustable, if your only lowering the truck in that range that would be the way to go. If you want to go lower in the future you can always move the front shackle later.
