Picture Request
Hello All-
I am looking for ride height / "aired up" pics of a truck with mild front and rear porterbuilt dropmember. Also pics of them aired out as well. Trying to decide what package to go with. Thank you very much in advance. |

Unfortunately I don't have many pics of the mild in the up position. However, we have a truck in the shop that has the Mild front and Rear. It's going to be next week until we can get some decent pics of it. I will be happy to post them for you then.

This is a pic of the truck resting 1" below it's intended ride height.
It can be driven at this height once we install the new inner wheel tubs. If you are running factory inner wheel tubs the tires will rest on them 1" below this height. I will get some better pics for you next week. Nate

Thank you. I have been talking with Dave on this set up. Just want to be sure I have purchased the correct suspension. Living in the Northeast I am not sure the extreme would be the best for our roads. I have factory well tubs at this point with 20" wheels up front and 22" wheels in the back.

I think I am going to modify. I want to drive the truck not just to shows or weekends. I am not handy with metal so I am going to have grant kustoms make the c notch cover and tubs. I had read you were working on a mild that would be 1"off the ground? Dave mentioned that would be ready in about a month but he thought it would be weld in only. I am looking for bolt in.

Yeah the magic question!! I would like the fenders to meet the top part of the wheel at ride height and the rears to just be tucking under the fender.
Like attached photo. Not sure of his wheel size. I like the fact the truck has a flat look. |

We use a Touring main x-member assembly up front (that puts the bottom of the dropmember equal to the bottom of the frame. This also allows the engine to remain at it's original height... and also no rack notches). It uses a unique upper hat that places the bag mount at a specific height to keep the truck one inch off the ground when the bag us fully compressed (with a CPP spindle and 28" tall tire). The rear is basically our extreme kit with a revised bridge assembly and taller bump stop. I have been playing with it for a little while just haven't had the time to wrap it all up yet. Its intent is to be for the guys that want that ultra low ride height but don't care about laying frame. It will require the same inner wheel well mods and bed floor mods as the extreme kit. Large hump trans tunnel is still recommended.... and drive-shaft angles are much easier to deal with and set-up. Little more hassle free. More to come. It's close. Nate

Nate-
How does alignments work with your set ups? Example being the extreme set up that is engineered to drive low. How do you know the correct ride height (best ride and travel) at which you get your alignment done? Your geometry changes at different heights. I hope my question is clear. Thanks Marc
