Mustang 2. Gm brakes?
Gonna do a rear disc conversion using right stuff parts, so it has off the shelf gm 11 " rotors and gm calipers,
I have a mustang 2 front now, I see a bracket that allows gm rotor and caliper on eBay, or jegs.... Pics show it comes with bearings, are these a special bearing with an odd id? The od would be the same as it is a gm rotor... Anyone used these? I'd like to just buy the brackets and then get all 4 calipers and rotors the same from right stuff as they would look and be powder coated the same... |

Re: Mustang 2. Gm brakes?
I've got these forged bracets for my MII front end. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-MUSTANG-II...e6ea1c&vxp=mtr
They use the G body 78/84 or something calipers. I can't help on the bearing thing right off hand but it isn't that hard to come up with. I was just going to buy a pair of the aftermarket MII 11 inch rotors that are drilled for the Chevy bolt pattern for mine. The cost isn't much different than new over the counter rotors at the parts house.

Re: Mustang 2. Gm brakes?
Thanks, what the difference in mii 11 in rotors drilled for chevy pattern, and just using gm rotors? I'm assuming just bearings? Is it possible that the wheel mating surface, track width? Is different? What rotor you use now?
Have a source for m2 11 inch rotor? |
