87 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 frame the same as a 2wd frame

i need the last two rear cross members for my friends 87 chevy 4x4 frame. are the 2wd frames the same as the 4wd? i listed this in the parts section also. i just need to know if i find cross members from a 2wd frame will they work on a 4wd frame? if anyone has the last two cross members i will pay shipping to Pa and let me know the price of the parts. need asap. thank you.

They are similar, I used the cross member support from a 4wd to replace the rusted out one on my 2wd frame, it fit just fine. I think its the same one you are talking about. Just half to grind off the rivets and use bolts.
