Repairing fender bolt holes
I don't have a picture at the moment, but on the inside of the front fenders where the core support bolts to it some of the integrated nuts broke off from the fender. Is there any remedy to fix these?

Re: Repairing fender bolt holes
sometimes when this happens I go get either a magnetic tool or one of those claw tools and just use one of those nuts with a washer attached

How do you keep it in place to tighten it?

Re: Repairing fender bolt holes
Are you talking about the square spot welded nuts?

Re: Repairing fender bolt holes
You can't reach up behind there to hold it?
Worst case seems like you might be able to tape a standard hex nut to your wrench to hold it in place while you get it started. We used to crossthread those bolts in the plant all the time (depending on which brand bolt we used). I don't recall how we fixed them when the nut broke loose but we didn't stop the line for it. K
