Re: oil sender?
thread size is m16 x 1.5, i bought this assortment from summit because i needed a water temp sensor adapter as well and this was cheaper than the other alternatives (like the autometer adapters which are spendy- $11 each): http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sun-cp7573

Re: oil sender?
I'm following what LS1NOVA did. No need to buy anything and it only takes a few minutes to do! I think the original oil line is 1/8 NPT, but not 100% positive.

Re: oil sender?
I ran into this same problem today. I called classic instruments, they said to drill out the port on the little aluminum block located above your oil filter with an 11/32 bit and tap it with a 1/8 npt. Greg

Re: oil sender?
Not everyone has that GOOFY HUGE sender tho... lol
They make the blockoff/bypass in three styles. The blockoff style, which is a flat plate with a "nipple" on it, that can be drilled and tapped carefully. Only hard part is getting the tap square so it taps straight threads. The second style has the removeable plug, which is the one in that picture. It didn't come on as many vehicles, and it now shares the same catalog part #'s as the next one. Third style is the same as above, but not tapped/plugged. It has the elbow with a flush surface and is easy to tap. There are a few billet pieces on the internet as well, which are pre-set for AN fittings if you need that.
