Re: Auxiliary / Isolated Oil Filters?
the guy has an adapter that goes on the engine for the use of two oil filters instead of one// was used on very hi usage industerial type and or hi rpm racin motors a case of overkill on the street

I like the idea of the relocation, looks like it would be a little less messy during an oil change..

Re: Auxiliary / Isolated Oil Filters?
Now all it needs to filter it better is get rid of those fram filters and replace them with AC Delco or Wix filters.

Re: Auxiliary / Isolated Oil Filters?
I wouldn't really say that its an overkill for a street engine since its just filtering oil and you never know whats really in your engine. However, I do know that if your not careful if you have alot of hose on top of two filters it might drop your pressure to low so your engine will starve of oil under higher demands.

I remember Fram featuring a setup like that on a Camaro years ago in one of their commercials.
