tailgate question
Silly question I'm sure but will a 73-87 tailgate fit a '69 fleetside? Not asking if it will look good. Do they fit and work the same or are they completely different in size and mechanicals?

I know I have seen it the other way around at the junk yard. I saw a 73 and up with 67-72 gate on it once. I didn't look to close to see how it fit though.

Hmmm, that's interesting. Well, junk yard tomorrow and swap meet Sunday so I may find the right one. I just want to get one on there so I can use my truck as I'm trying to get my "new" truck sold. I know this sounds like I'm whipped but my wife freaks out every time I mention a net back there. She might think I'm saying Annette. You never can tell with her. I just need to be able to use it as a truck until I find the right one.
