let's see some interior pics
looking for ideals on interior..mainly dash and gauges..need to mount EGT and boost gauges so ideals on where to mount them..door panels//speaker locations//and just overall complete interiors;;very interested in seeing lots of DIY'S stuff..not interested myself in seeing high end expensive stuff done at some high cost custom interior shops..i like looking at home grown stuff that a person has done out in there drive ways with major thinking of looking good without taking out a second morage on your home to have done

Re: let's see some interior pics
Here is one idea.
Another is a pillar pod. I believe Cap'n Fab was working on one.

Re: let's see some interior pics
Here is a link for a few ideas for more gauges in the dash. This is how I am trying to add a spot for boost and pyro gauges. Not expensive just time consuming. I cut the upper left gauge section out and glued it back where the right side vent was and moved the vent down where the radio used to be, am doing something different for a radio

Did you cannibalize a second dash for that?

Re: let's see some interior pics
Justin - looks good, 3 questions: Are the seat and the dash charcoal color? Did you paint the dash to match the seat? Is the seat cover vinyl, leather or faux leather? Thx.

Re: let's see some interior pics
I cut pieces from a junk dash and used 2" gauges, after I bought them I wish I would have used the bigger gauges, o well. The tricky part is if I can come up with the brushed aluminum cover for the bezel.

The seat is leather with a suede insert at the top for a factory look. All the plastics are GM pieces painted black with SEM Landeau Black. |

It's stock panels covered in leather. The trim and panels are all new from LMC (well new, bought it many years ago)

Re: let's see some interior pics
BTW: My interior wasn't expensive. I did pay to have the carpet on the door panels replaced with vinyl, buying the seats was cheaper than having the original benches recovered.

Carbon crew, I need the source for your seats. Every time I see your truck those seats just kill me. I need those bad for my crew.

Re: let's see some interior pics
Carboncrew, I 've noticed a chrome piece coming out from under your front passenger seat. What is it? Part of the seat?
BTW, like all the rest, I love your truck. Was it originally a dually, or srw? |

Thank you very much sir.

The chrome thing on the floor is a brake pedal lock...not sure how well they work, hopefully I never have to find out!! The truck started life as a 1991 long bed 2wd. |
