Re: Grill center peice
A while back I had an 88 Suburban, with a brown strip in the grille. We repainted it, and just used the same paint for the grille.
Afterwards we could still see the old cracks under the new paint, but it looked good from a distance. For a daily driver or work truck, that's what I'd recommend.

Find someone who does vinyl stripes and decals in your area. Call a local body shop or dealership service department and ask who does their vinyl stripes for them.

Re: Grill center peice
a little not much really. i do know another way. you can get contact paper at walmart for inside drawers. cut it out and stick it on. quality may be not as good though. but its vinyl just like sign shops use and in a roll. foil tape may work too but id be afraid it may come off.

It is going to cost you more to remove the old than to put new on. I would venture to say if you had both moldings clean already and void of the old cracked up vinyl, you'd drop about $10 having them redone.
Ask them to do it all for you and I can see the price getting up between $50 and $75.
